After Jessie sees Brandon getting into his little accident during the Bike Round, Jessie was worried that he might break his legs, like how she competed when she was an Olympian. Luckily for Jessie, Brandon was only bruised, not having his legs broken. Jessie was relieved, and the two embraced each other. Despite Brandon being eliminated from the games, Jessie assures him that he's still her winner in her book.
While Jessie's injury years ago was played for laughs, this situation is used to enhance Jessie and Brandon's love for each other.
